The Penns Valley Hope Fund would like to help provide bandannas or face masks to Penns Valley residents who do not currently have protection to go out on life sustaining activities. We have been working through the local Penns Valley ministers to determine need and have distributed to people in high risk categories such as seniors or persons with compromised immune systems, medical conditions such as heart disease, asthma, diabetes, etc. or people working at a life sustaining business. Please note that wearing a facemask does not guarantee you will not get the virus, however, it is an added layer of protection and will also protect you from spreading the virus if you would be an asymptomatic carrier.
If anyone else needs a bandanna mask or face mask, please contact us. We are trying to serve as many as possible and we would love to help you! Please email us at email@example.com and include your name, address, phone number, number of masks needed for male or female along with the size, adult or child. We will arrange for a porch drop if possible to ensure everyones safety.
As you know supplies are very limited and difficult to find. We certainly don’t want to take anything away from the work being done for our wonderful and loyal front-line caregivers as they are in dire need of the home-made masks! We do, however, have material and are looking for volunteers who can help either make face masks or bandanna masks which are much simpler to do. Thank you to all who are helping others through this crisis! This is an amazing area we live in and we feel very blessed to be part of the Penns Valley Community!
