Thank you to everyone who came out to support the 5th Annual Harry Smith Festival and the HOPE Fund of Penns Valley on Sunday, November 4.  The Elk Creek Cafe was packed with wonderful people and musicians from 2:00 to 7:30 p.m.  A big thank you to all the fabulous musicians who donated their time and talents to help out the Penns Valley area.  Amazing musical acts by Earl Pickens & Family, The Wiyos, Miss Melanie, Tyne & the Fastlyne, MaMa Corn, Pete Sheridan & the Jameson Boys and Chicken Tractor Deluxe rocked the house for this amazing event.  A special thank you goes out to

The HOPE Fund would like to thank Bryan Wasson for his hard and successful work for his senior project this year.  Bryan raised over 1,000 pumpkins and sold them on Saturday September 22 during his Fall Festival of HOPE.  Bryan created a day of activities and fun for families to attend which included a food stand, pumpkin painting/art, corn maze and other games with prizes.  Fall decorations like pumpkins, gourds, and indian corn could be purchased along with tickets for a raffle drawing to win multiple prizes that were donated by others.

Please consider making a donation (we will warmly welcome something small or large!!) to The HOPE Fund of Penns Valley through Centre County Community Foundations's (CCCF) first CENTRE GIVES campaign.  See our events page Centre Gives for more information.  Please keep in mind that Centre County Community Foundation will match the dollars donors contribute to The HOPE Fund through this on-line giving event.
