Dear HOPE Fund Supporters,
The Hope Fund will again be participating in the 36-hour online giving this year starting 9AM May 12 - May 13 9PM. We greatly appreciate your continued support to help a Penns Valley resident who has faced a medical issue or personal disaster. Anyone who donates to The HOPE Fund of Penns Valley can be PROUD knowing their contributions have helped over 200 Penns Valley families. Since 2008, we have dispersed over $600,000 to help an individual/family with short-term financial assistance paying one's mortgage/rent, electricity, medical bills, heating fuel, and provided them with food and gas cards. There is so much community support, now more than ever with Covid-19. We are BLESSED that we have been able to partner with several non-profit organizations to help provide food in the valley to an increasing number of children, parents, elderly, and veterans….No one deserves to go hungry! We have also been making face masks for our PV businesses and anyone else in need.
With that being said, all donations are crucial to us at this time. If you are able, now would be the perfect time to make a tax-deductible donation during the 36-hour online Centre Gives. Your donation during Center Gives adds stretch money to our Hope Fund pool of money! Since Centre Gives began in 2012, Centre Foundation has provided an annual $100,000 stretch pool. The more money an organization raises, the greater the portion of the stretch pool that organization will receive. Thanks to the Hamer Foundation’s donation, gifts were stretched an average of 15% for the past two years, with their additional $100,000 that doubles the stretch pool.
